Playing as part of Academy Cinemas' October retrospective festival, 'Season of the Witch'.
A special, one-off event!
What better way to close the Season of the Witch than with a double feature of Dario Argento’s neon operatic masterworks, SUSPIRIA and INFERNO from THE THREE MOTHERS trilogy! Surreal lighting, stunningly choreographed horror and pulsating electronic music typify these essential works of horror cinema.
We start with the infamous SUSPIRIA, recently remade by Luca Guadagnino: ‘An American newcomer to a prestigious German ballet academy comes to realize that the school is a front for something sinister amid a series of grisly murders.’
After a 15 minute interval we will follow with the thematic sequel INFERNO: ‘An American college student in Rome and his sister in New York investigate a series of killings in both locations where their resident addresses are the domain of two covens of witches.’
