For the duration of the Japanese Director Showcase, we're partnering with Tanuki (and Tanuki's Cave) to provide you with a $50 Meal and a Movie Deal!

This deal includes:

One set meal at either Tanuki or Tanuki's Cave (319 Queen Street), to be enjoyed BEFORE the film.

One ticket for the Japanese Director Showcase film at Academy Cinemas.

Vegetarian options are available! Please note that the deal will be exclusively available at Tanuki's (street level) for Yojimbo, Audition, Tokyo Godfathers, Cure, Battle Royale and Late Spring. For Onibaba and Ugetsu, as Tanuki's is closed on Monday and Tuesday, the deal will instead include a meal at Tanuki's Cave, downstairs at the same address (to be booked via email).
