Auckland Queer Film Festival Closing Night - FRIDAY 4th MARCH ONLY - Three outcast teenage girls get a new perspective on high-school life when they are mysteriously transformed into boys, in this skillfully crafted tale of sexual confusion with a supernatural twist.

With the aid of a fellow Auschwitz survivor and a handwritten letter, an elderly man with dementia seeks to right the wrongs of the past. Zev (Academy Award winner Christopher Plummer, Beginners) and his best friend Max (Academy Award winner Martin Landau, Ed Wood) make a pact to dedicate their remaining days to resolving business: tracking down and exacting revenge on the Nazi commandant responsible for killing their families during the war. As Zev is losing his memory to Alzheimer's and Max is too frail to leave the nursing home, Zev must embark upon the journey to find their former tormentor before it is too late. Also starring Jurgen Prochnow (Das Boot), Dean Norris (Breaking Bad) and Bruno Ganz (Downfall), Remember is a compelling thriller in which the darkest chapter of the 20th century collides with a contemporary mission of revenge.

Documentarian Andrew Rossi chronicles the creation of the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art's most attended fashion exhibition in history, 'China: Through The Looking Glass'. With unprecedented access, filmmaker Andrew Rossi captures the collision of high fashion and celebrity at the Met Gala, one of the biggest global fashion events chaired every year by Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour. Featuring a cast of renowned artists in many fields (including filmmaker Wong Kar Wai and fashion designers Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gaultier and John Galliano) as well as a host of contemporary pop icons like Rihanna, the movie dives into the debate about whether fashion should be viewed as art.
